What a fun-filled week that just keeps going and going. First a visit with one of my kids, Ben Zabin and his folks in CT on Sunday, followed by an amazingly good show on Monday, at NYCs Monday Night Magic with Harrison Greenbaum, Peter Samelson and Alex Boyce (in his MNM debut). After the show, got to spend time with some of my all-grown-up kids, and all-around great guys Josh Jay, Matt Birnbaum as well as Michael Chaut, Jeff Moche, Ben Nemzer, Cassandra Nemzer and others. Tuesday, had a wonderfully charming dinner with T.J. Tana, Matt Fox (& his dad), Terri Cook, Chris, Steven, Matt Birnbaum all hosted by John Reid in my honor. Tuesday night, I lectured at Johns shop (Tricky Business) for over two hours to a thoughtful and inquisitive crowd, and was thrilled to see my pals Alan Garber, David Glassman, Ben Cohen and others. Still on Long Island on Wed, I gave four private Master Sessions with magicians looking to improve their acts. Each had different styles, questions and needs. What fun. Thursday, was able to swing by the New England Magic Collectors bi-annual convention, meeting up with my old buddies, Peter Samelson, Joe Howard, Bob Riordan, Tim Felix, David Stahl, Roger Dreyer, Scott Martell, John Gaughan, Mike Caveney, Rick Heath, Richard Kaufman, Ray Goulet, Leland Faulkner, Ryan Lally, David Haversat, Gabe Fajuri, Bill Schmeelk, Andrew Pinard, Alan R. Wassilak, Richard Hatch and on and on. I dont know how much more I can take this week!! Except, tonight (Fri), Ill be back heading up our monthly S.Y.M. meeting, inspiring and expanding young minds. Whew! What a week. More big stuff next week. Ill keep you posted! Life is good.
