What a great volunteers day out! Bognor Community Gardeners went to the GroSouth Exhibition hosted by Roundstones. It was a nice day out for us but the icing ( and a big fat cherry ) on the cake was meeting the lovely Mr David Green of Chapel Cottage Plants in Wimblington Cambridgeshire. We told him about our volunteer work and he offered us his complete stall of show plants for a steal. Here is our Mary just before we loaded it all up. He had to tell me quite firmly to stop shaking his hand, I wanted to give him a big hug. THANK YOU DAVID for 120 hardy perennials .... I think we have ourselves a garden.
