What a lovely night for a walk in the rain. I was just out walking through my neighbourhood and fell in love with two of the most gorgeous trees I have ever seen... and they are on the same street, just 3 doors down from each other! If you have never seen a mature Purple Beech or Ginkgo Tree, take a wander down Devonshire Avenue in Old South. These trees are truly breathtaking! I am thankful to the foresighted people who planted them so many years ago, and also thankful to the subsequent owners of the properties, for having the smarts to keep the trees happy and healthy.
