What a warm start to the day, just a few points to help get your Fish through this steaming hot time... 1. Make sure filters are running and the impellor is clean, so they are pumping maxium capacity. 2. Make sure you have enough airation in your tank. Hot the water the less oxygen. 3. Leave light OFF to help with the heat. 4. Dont feed for a day or two while extreme heat is here. 5. Marine tanks make sure your chiller air filters are clean. 6. Make sure water is running through chiller. 7. Make sure chiller has good air flow. 8. Leave your glass lids off. 9. Put a fan blowing air over the top of your tank. 10. Make sure if running a sump to top up as evaporation is high. 11. Make sure you have plenty of water movement. 12. Place some shade cloth or umbrella over your pond to block some direct sunlight. Dont forget to have plenty of water for your Dogs, Cats and Birds as well, and make sure they have shade to cool down in also. Hope these tips will get you through the next couple of days.
