What a waste of my time. Waking up early on Saturdays, in hoping to make music with fellow musicians, instead, theres no practice today. We came without knowledge that there was no practice, but there was something we had to do; paste cardboard egg trays onto the walls of the band room. We even had to take orders from someone whom we have no relation with. ITE; three enormous colleges. East, Central and West. With swimming pools at each college, supermakets and food courts, recreation centres, indoor sports hall, gym, auditorium, lecture theatres, dance studios and more of such privileges. With such privileges, why cant there be fundings for a professional way to soundproof the room? Or at least for the performing arts group? We needed curtains, so simple and yet we cant even have a proper one and we had to wait months for it and instead of the proper installation to put up the curtains, we had to use the stick on the wall hooks you usually get to hang your small items(towels, toilet brush, scissors, etc). Let alone soundproofing the room, we cant even afford to get new scores for the band.
