What a wonderful weekend. Saturday brought me to the Pals No-Kill Cat Shelter in Winthrop to volunteer at their family fun day event. I manned the bounce house and my friends Crissie Thompson and Trinity Bragg joined me and made sno-kones! Won a gift certificate to Petes Roast Beef in Winthrop from the silent auction they held! Love that place! Met some of the kitties that were outside on the catio. LOL My boss Simonne Fontaine Maline and her hubby came to visit too! Felt good to volunteer and help out. Today was a nice day with my father. We went to the Apple Farm in Fairfield and took a small walk around orchard. Dad has some free apple crisp with Giffords Ice Cream and I took some pics. Dad made a good model. LOL We bought some potatoes, apples and apple cider! Dad and I are going to make an apple pie! On way home, Dad took his first selfie with me! LOL He is too cool for an 86 yo! Man, time flies by! He made me corn on the cob and a BLT for dinner. I am blessed to have such a wonderful Dad. He may be a curmudgeon but he loves me and I love my popsy! LOL Have tomorrow off and heading to doctor in the A.M. to see what is next for my shoulder pain. Discharged from physical therapy this past week as the treatment wasnt working. Hope it is not something really wrong with my spine. Well, I babbled enough. I just felt I needed to say all this, dont know why! Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend as much as I did! NIghty night!
