What a year. Whew! In January I sold our Atlanta home and moved to a condo on Tampas Harbour Island to be near our daughters. Loved it so much, in June I bought a condo at Adalia Bay Front Condominiums on Davis Islands and moved again--all while working full-time at Sears Holdings and Avid Design and caring 24/7 for a very ill spouse with nurses in my home. I welcomed another granddaughter (#6 grandchild) in November and am in love with this beauty! In December, after suffering with declining health, Bob moved to a nearby LTAC hospital. There he stays while getting his serious medical needs met. For that I am relieved. Nothing could have prepared me for such dramatic changes in my life--moving from being cared for to being the main bread winner; selling a home alone--and buying a condo alone and moving twice alone within six months; dealing with STAT emergency medical decisions in the care of a loved one--alone. Somehow I got through. Looking back I know that God was always by my side - always supporting, sometimes pulling and never, ever ignoring my prayers. For that Im grateful.
