What an incredible experience last friday cutting the Songwriters for Soldiers CD.. four master vocal tracks remain to be done along with some overdubbing... It was hard to get these songs out of my head:-) all great songs!...what an incredible body of work by all of the songwriters and the Soldiers....David Bradley, Bob Regan, Tamy McDonald, Jeremy Bussey, Tim Maggart, Eddie Heinzelman, Eric Lee Beddingfield, Douglas C. Drake Sr., Lisa Malone, Jason Jones, Alissa Moreno, Jonathan Wells, Misty Loggins, Marc Beeson, Keni Thomas, Rita Whitmer, Debi Cochran, Amy Allen, Louis E. Crocker, Roger Daniels, Josh Johnson, Dennis Russell, TracyLynn Jones Ryver, Aaron Voris, George Sykes, Patrick Ross, Bill Fritchler, David Jarret, Rebecca Townsend Milligan, and Alicia N Sak Khim. Also to my brother musicians-- Steve Holland, Paul Hagy, Rodger Morris, and Eddie Heinzelman. This album simply could not have been made without your hard work and spirit of giving and contribution....and a very special shout out to my old friend Curt Ryle at Big Matador Recording for his contributions with the use of his studio as well lending his talent, ears, engineering, hospitality and musicianship to this project and for his heart toward these soldiers...Thank you all! I want to say it is truly an honor and have also been blessed with making new friends and associates. The spirit that has pervaded this project has been nothing short of Amazing! What Stories!
