What an uplifting experience I was blessed to enjoy while at my weekly Institute of Religion class tonight! A little something I got from tonights lesson, based off a General Conference talk given by Elder Richard G. Scott, on the 4th tool to keeping the Spirit strongly present in our lives: #4. Go to the Temple One of the most important tools you can use in this life is the Temple. Even if you dont hold a current recommend allowing you to perform the ordinances within its walls, you can still GO to the temple. You can still stand or walk around on the temple grounds, you can study your scriptures or pray next to the temple doors, and you can even sit within the lobby and study or pray. If you are going through a trial right now, requiring you to regain your worthiness to hold that Temple recommend, please know that you are still worthy, as a son or daughter of our God on High, to feel and observe those angels that surround His house. You are still worthy to reach out and touch the walls of Heaven on earth and reap the blessings thereof, just by simply being next to the temple. Until that day that you have worked so hard for comes, that you may reenter His living quarters, GO TO THE TEMPLE. The blessings will forever stand there waiting for you to reach out and seize them! So go no matter what, because you will always find His angels there awaiting your return so thag they may joyously usher you into The House of the Lord. ♡
