What are You motivated by Love or fear? If we think we have to do something to be right before God or loved by God we are then doing things base on our performance it is like living under the old testament law. Instead of Gods love motivating us it really is fear because we think we have to do things to keep right with God. The truth is we are right with God because of what Jesus Christ accomplished He paid the price for our right standing with God and we receive this righteousness when we confessed and believed Romans 10:9&10. True Godly Faith (believing) is activated by the love of God, not our good works or anything we do.
