What do we leave for what we get? Is there an exchange when we - TopicsExpress

What do we leave for what we get? Is there an exchange when we take in new sights? A balance. We leave physical pieces of ourselves, complex compounds and waste product everywhere we go... ask a dog, many of these compounds are still not fully absorbed or dissipated for a long time. In return we absorb millions of little things with every breath, every open pore from every enviroment. Just the known about things, like physical particles , were far from understanding the whole give and take of, there are so many combinations. But light. Thats another intriguing one for possibilities. Are we really just taking in an electrical interpretation of light from our eyeballs to our brains? Why change the wavelengths? At a minimum light is manipulating the organic compounds in your eyes for an immediate physical effect. Whos to say its not still actual light coursing around in your body from events going way back. When we find out that our brains actually take pieces of the original lights and colors we absorb, and stores them, the actual light particles, in sub-microscopic places. Memories could be more than just interpretations. How much space would actual light particles take up, if all were gathered in one spot with no space between them? Good question. The whole Universe in a thimble? I like it. With that theory now, Is it possible we shed any of this light, as light? There are only so many light particles per scene. We take in only a fraction of them. Yet enough of them where one could, for instance take every tenth light particle and still have a very clear picture ( jpgs and file compression show us that.) We have two optical systems...probably billions of particles per second going into each. Take every millionth particle and it still may be a good picture. So heres the fun part. When I am remembering something, and in your presence, I may be emitting thousands of these pictures for any to take in through...breathing, pores, hair...something. Truly sharing memories...leaving them laying around in special places to be absorbed by the next guy to sit by that creek and wander, along with their own. It would explain a lot of things, if this be the case. Before you start debating particles vs waves vs whatever or quantum mechanics, etc., remember, some of the best theories are very simplified, when it comes to trying to visualize them. I really dunno much, but I do think we have much more to learn about what we regard as light. Shine on today, friends, if you made it this far. Obviously my lights are dimming for the night, so I will stop babbling at you and go paint pictures with endless possibilities in dreamland. Love and Peace.
