What do you make of this, anyone? “He was as real, as 3-dimensional, as 3-dimentional, as solid, as physical as he was in real life.” That’s how ghosts appear, not as wispy ethereal forms but absolutely as real and solid as you or me. So real and solid, in fact, that the ‘witness’ doesn’t realise that he’s seeing a ghost at all at the time but only afterwards when he realises with shock that the person he has just seen is no longer alive. The fact that he doesn’t realise it at the time is yet another indication that the experience is taking place in an altered state of consciousness, just as the ghost’s solid appearance is yet another indication that ghosts and apparitions cannot be captured on film – anymore than they can be captured in sacks. For the amorphous ethereal forms interpreted as ‘ghosts’ on photographs bear little resemblance to what is seen during ghostly encounters. What is seen by the photographer when he’s actually taking the photograph is absolutely nothing at all. I don’t think these kinds of experience can be dismissed as pure hallucinations. There’s more to it than that. Information is being acquired by extrasensory channels at the very least. I’m not talking about this or that isolated case but patterns that run through first-hand reports of these kinds of experiences worldwide. I wouldn’t like to go further than that. Things are rarely what they seem. I’m posting this here because there may be a parallel between ghost and apparition experiences and UFO / alien experiences. We need to know: is the one kind of experience the same as, similar to, or completely different from the other? youtube/watch?v=daZMlvtnYt8
