What happened in Kisii during the requiem mass for the accident victims was shameful. It was turned out in a political duel between CORD and JUBILEE. Pleas by religious leaders fell on deaf ears as CORD followers shouted down government representatives. This was not about CORD or JUBILEE neither was it a political rally. If the hecklers felt that the government was going wrong somewhere they should have looked for the right place and right way to air their views. Those present should have prayed for the departed souls, consoled and given messages of encouragement to the bereaved families. But the CORD leaders instead resulted to cheap politics. That was wrong and truth should be told. The believed families were in pain and the last thing in their mind was politics.
