What happens to a Nation, When Their Government and Leaders Lie ...... It seems like no one tells the truth any more. Only a few.... Hardly anyone will stand up and say, I was wrong......... I did it............ This is all that has been in the news these last few weeks...... When a government is just, honest And truthful, its citizens are safe, secure and they prosper.... When a government Is unjust, dishonest and tells lies, its citizens are insecure, afraid, neglected and suffering. A government that is wicked may ultimately lead to rebellion and anarchy..... This has been proven threw out history and though many nation around the world... God, has a whole lot to say about Kings, Rulers, and leaders own their behavior, their integrity, and their resulting impact on the people they rule over. We are to obey the governmental authorities, and the government is to treat us justly and fairly. Even, when the government does not live up to its role, we are still to live up to ours......... And when the government asks us to do something that is in direct disobedience to God’s Word, we are to disobey the government in faithful confidence of the Lord’s power to protect us...... Proverbs 28:15 As a roaring lion, and a ranging bear; so is a wicked ruler over the poor people. just·ly adverb: justly according to what is morally right or fair; fairly. we deal justly with complaints ............ in a way that is well founded; justifiably. God created the authorities ruling over us just as He created us... Brother Paul said :......... Romans 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Romans 13:2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. Question .........? Are WE, as Christians, Those who are saved by Calvarys Cross....... Not Servants of the Lord............? Sure we are......... If we Have Faith in Jesus we are............ A Servant is........ serv·ant...... noun: servant; plural noun: servants a person who performs duties for others, especially a person employed in a house on domestic duties or as a personal attendant. synonyms: attendant, retainer; More domestic (worker), (hired) help, cleaner; lackey, flunky, minion; maid, housemaid, footman, page (boy), valet, butler, manservant; housekeeper, steward; drudge, menial, slave, water boy; archaicscullion servants were cleaning the hall •a person employed in the service of a government. •a devoted and helpful follower or supporter. a tireless servant of God synonyms: helper, supporter, a follower I see the word slave, in the Definition of a servant ....... Brother Peter Wrote:....... 1 Peter 2:13 Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lords sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; 1 Peter 2:14 Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. So we have both Peter and Paul also remind ***slaves*** repeatedly to be obedient to their masters for the same reasons.... 1 Peter 2:18 Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the froward. 1 Peter 2:19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully. 1 Peter 2:20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God. Also in Titus we see this................... Titus 2:9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again; Titus 2:10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things. Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, And we see in Ephesians.................. Ephesians 6:5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ; Ephesians 6:6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; Ephesians 6:7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Ephesians 6:8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. So.......... what is all these verses telling me as a Christian...............?
