What has been the impact of adopting many of these standards in New Canaan over the last few years? New Yorkers are seeing the impact of the math methodology, and the narrow-focused reading and writing skills. The testing itself has caused documented physical ailments and stress. We can no longer ignore what is coming our way, and which is unlike any other historical reform in education.
