What is light doing with darkness? Pastor E. A. Adeboye, as an - TopicsExpress

What is light doing with darkness? Pastor E. A. Adeboye, as an AGIP I am not particularly impressed with the fact that Pastor Adeboye was invited and he attended a meeting called by OBJ, especially to discuss Jonathan and Nigeria. It is quite sad for me to see that, over the years, he has featured in all government activities, even to the extend of laying hands on these corrupt politicians. You would find him at Alausa today, Ekiti tomorrow. He alone would go and pray for Osogbo governor next Monday and return to Abeokuta government house by Wednesday. This is becoming embarrassing, especially, as his palling with politicians is without respect to parties and personalities. While the usual rhetoric are that he has the fundamental rights and that he was invited to these places, I am sure that his invitees also know him very well that he is a ANY GOVERNMENT IN POWER (AGIP) person; hence, they keep inviting him. What about the gains accruable from such visits? I am confident that OBJ would not make the mistake of inviting Pastor Tunde Bakare. What would darkness do with light? Since 1999, Pastor Adeboye has (directly or indirectly) featured in all PDP activities, especially laying hands on them, which technically implies that he sanctioned their atrocious behaviors. For his involvement with the PDP, i think he has benefited in no smalI measure. For instance, it was widely reported that OBJ granted Pastor Adeboyes RCCG waiver to import iron from China when RCCG was building its auditorium. In addition, RCCG also got the nod to generate its own electrical power. Why is this important? What is the benefit of robbing Nigeria millions of naira in tax and duties? Is RCCG not daily raking trillions of naira - untaxed trillions - from poverty-ridden Nigerians without as much as having a single outreach where it pays back to Nigerians? Is RCCG not daily raking trillions of dollars from its off-shore churches across the world already? Untaxed and unaudited monies. This is sad and unfortunate. Between 1999 and 2003, Lagos State conceived the idea of an independent power generation. It was widely reported that OBJs government was against it, citing that electricity generation is a constitutional matter. In fact, the argument was that electricity generation, over a certain kilowatt, is within the exclusive powers of the federal government. Why then is RCCG Camp using turbine to generate electricity, which it also sells to its inhabitants? This has been in place since the time of OBJ? Who gave the waiver to RCCG? OBJ? Or is RCCG generating power without government approval? Is RCCG and Pastor Adeboye bigger that the nation? Prophet Elijah, as the Bible made us to believe, fought for the masses. Pastor Adeboye dines and wines with government. Prophet Elijah, as the Bible made us to believe, fought the states and prophets of Baal. All we see of Pastor Adeboye is laying hands on politicians, many of whom are corrupt. Sadly, at Pastor Adeboyes Redeemers University, members of the church - the very people who are paying tithes and offering to keep the business going - are not entitled to fee-reduction. In fact, a great majority of them could not afford to pay the almost half-a-million naira a year school fee. I am aware of Pastor Oyedepos inclusion in the meeting, but I am not particularly concerned about him. Why? Not long ago in Pastor Oyedepos university, female students were graduation because they were HIV positive. They were denied the fruit of their labor because they were not virgins. What sort of man would do that? He collected their monies before he realised that they were not virgins. For crying out loud, what has virginity got to do with it? When they were enrolling, were issues of HIV and virginity statuses advertised as part of the entry requirements? As if that was not enough, he slapped a congregant, accusing her of witchcraft right on camera. What did the Nigerian state do in the matter? Was he arrested for violating the fundamental rights of a Nigerian? No! What about the much-talked about UK issue? If not for the lawyer who took up the issue, the Nigerian state would look the other way. Rather than doing things for their communities, these mega-churches are ripping these communities off, constituting nuisance on the highways, destroying natural habitat and polluting the environment. Why is government silent, even with the enormous man-hour being wasted over RCCG monthly nuisance galore on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway? NOTHING. Why? Politicians need Pastor Adeboye and others to keep Nigerian citizens under control with their fear of God, leaders are appointed by God, etc. messages. It is the opium that has kept us under and subservient since independence and, with these gods of men in place, the situation will continue forever. Hmmnnnn Touch not my anointed.... thenationonlineng.net/new/obasanjo-adeboye-oyedepo-jonathan-meet-abeokuta/
