What is the right age to tell your child that Santa isnt real ? Ive always questioned EVERYTHING . When I was seven or eight, I remember grilling my Mom on inaccuracies of Santa ... She tried to counter my allegations , but even at a young age I formed my opinions on scientific data and had a hard time accepting that a portly old man was able to travel the distance of Earth in a slay pulled by flying deer , while managing to slip down millions of tiny chimneys , all in one night ... Especially when we were in South Florida where chimneys DONT exist !!! Ill never forget the day when I finally wore Mom down and she threw in the towel ... It was in the parking lot of Winn Dixie . I remember her loading the last bag of groceries and slamming the trunk while saying youre right Mike , there is no such thing as Santa . A part of me died that day :-( lol
