What stinks for joe... the age gap. Most other kids dont believe him nor do they realize he comes from a large family with older siblings. Therefore, these kids tend to be quite brave with thinking its easy to treat joe like he less cool or to talk down on his abilities to be an athlete or not cool enough to hang. Little do they know Joes confidence and great outlook comes from being around a big family and things roll off his shoulders (for the most part). What sucks is trying to stay calm being a parent and watching little shits be their little shitzie selves without wanting to snag them and say whats wrong with you punk? You always hope their own parents correct obvious shit behavior but it doesnt happen. The most cool kids are the ones who can be cool and decent to others at the same time. Joe is a cool kid...because he appreciates every moment and learns from his mistakes if caught and corrected. Not every parent will correct their shits because in their mind...kids will be kids. (Or boys will be boys)
