Ex Prezs Kuffour and Mills managed to increase their votes(percentage) from one election to the other, but same cant be said about that of Nana Addo as his keeps decreasing. 2. They won against new faces, or if you like, first time contestants. ei, Kuffour beating a first-timer in 2000, and Mills also beating a first-timer in 2008. 3. None of them (JAK and Mills) won against an incumbent. Conclusions 1. It would be clearly out of place for anyone to cite JAK and Mills examples in their quest to make a case for Nana Addo as to why he should contest several times after those unsuccessful attempts. 2. It is laughable to conclude that 2016 would be a cool chop for Nana Addo when it is very obvious that his votes keep decreasing. 3. Unseating an incumbent president is a herculean task which needs the support of everyone including first-time and floating voters, and let me hasten to add,it has never happen in our history before. 4.
