What we see with president Jose Eduardo dos Santos is having power - TopicsExpress

What we see with president Jose Eduardo dos Santos is having power without knowing how to govern. You cannot enact a Constitution to violate it, because the purpose of a Constitution is to establish a government, limiting the power of government, by granting to it only those specific powers that are listed in the constitution, to form a more perfect government, to have one law for all Angolans to follow, and to ensure domestic tranquility. In all true democracies the constitution is supposed to be administered by the three branches of government and not by one man. In order for any Constitution to be successful, it must be both stable and flexible. What we see in Angola is a country without a respected constitution by those who amalgamated it. The question we need to address is, when is a law, a law and who has the right to violate it. If these questions are not addressed, those who will follow will continue to do the same.
