Whats on my mind - one never knows. If you see the young people I teach, you would be amazed at their progress. If you enjoy the atmosphere at Lewis Cass, you would be amazed at the great teaching happening in the classroom. If you go outside in the south parking lot , youll see this very large 104 x 60 structure finished. IT IS THE MUSIC ANNEX - and we are so very pleased to call it ours. I take students out there as often as I can, just to hear them go WOW! ITS OURS? I even took my mentor class out to see the annex. The band almost used it today when threatening weather was in the area. On days like today, my job is to make sure I check with Scott Mannering and Christa Woods, PE teachers, so they know we would like to use the gym. Today, I met Scott Mannering in the gym and informed him - we wouldnt need the main gym floor. I was thrilled to give him that news. Im sure he was equally thrilled that I no longer have to ask him if the main gym is available. Thanks again to all of you that have made this structure a reality. Thanks to Jim Donato and the work of the fund raising committee, chaired by Kim Robertson, for their diligent efforts. Thanks to the Cass Co. Foundations generosity that gave us the funds to turn a storage barn into a rehearsal hall. Whats on my mind - well, I keep wondering why God is so good to the Lewis Cass Marching Kings band and guard.
