Whats your heart attitude? Jesus looked up and saw the rich - TopicsExpress

Whats your heart attitude? Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the offering box, and he saw a poor widow putting in two small copper coins. And he said, Truly I tell you this poor widow has put in more than all of them. For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on. - Jesus (Luke 21:1-4) --God measures our gifts and offerings to him not by their size, but on the basis of how much of a sacrifice it was to give them, and how sincere and selfless our hearts are as we give them. -- Yesterday at Living Stones pastor George Velarde preached a sermon on what it means to be on mission as disciples of Jesus regarding our financial giving to the work of the Lord. He said a phrase that really captured me, Our bank statement should reflect our doctrinal statement. Our money manifests our mission. I know God has only begun doing the incredible things He has planned for Elko and my prayer daily is the God will move on the hearts of His people and provide for our church. If all those that claim Him invested cheerful, faithful, and sacrificial offerings of money to the Lord, the church and the mission would move forward in ways we cant even imagine. May God move on my heart and I lead in this act of worship. May He provide the funds we need to continue to have a healthy church on mission in our city! You can worship God financially and help us on the mission were on by visiting lsgive (CLICK ELKO CHURCH in the drop down menu) and making cheerful, sacrificial, and regular donations to Gods work here in the Elko/Spring Creek area. God Bless! #LivingStonesElko
