When All You Want is a Peaceful Home By adminon Mon, 21 Jul 2014 So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31 Whether a home is large or small, doesn’t matter as long as love is there. Maybe you live in a house that is not yet a home. ”It’s too much God. It’s too much fighting, too much arguing, too many hurtful words and complete misunderstandings, too much stubbornness and rebellion! Lord, I can’t take this anymore! Fill this home God! Fill this home with Your peace and Your love. Show me what to do.” I want you to know, God hears you and He’s saying, “I’m with you. Be encouraged and comforted. Have faith in Me and obey My Word, and I will invade your heart and home with My peace. I will flood you with My light of truth. I will fill every corner and every crack in the wall with My love.” Do you believe that? God is the Great Home Renovator. He comes in only when invited, and He completely turns everything around. He changes the lighting and creates the kind of atmosphere that no one will want to leave. So how does He do it? When God wants to change the atmosphere of the home, He begins by changing the people in it. He always answers by changing you, strengthening you, empowering you, and filling you. It doesn’t mean you are the problem. No, you are the answer. You are the one His Spirit uses to bring the change you have prayed for. A heart that is at peace with God and a life that is surrendered to Him, will gradually change the atmosphere of any place. It’s like a Glade scented plug-in that is small, but wonderfully powerful! Before long, the entire house smells great. If you cooperate with God, He will change your atmosphere and make your house a home. Prayer: Father God thank You for Your Word to me. I receive every single word in my heart and show me how to apply it in my life. The same thing You accomplish in my heart, I pray you accomplish in my home. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
