When I heard my sweet little niece wanted a Maleficent Doll for Christmas I searched EVERYWHERE not realizing how popular they were this year. I lucked out and the toys r us 30 minutes North of us said they had them in stock. When I arrived at the store the dolls were nowhere to be found, but I overheard an associate telling another woman a couple aisles over where they were if there were any left. I immediately bee lined to the aisle and laid my eyes on the last doll the same the other customer did. Now in an almost full sprint to the doll I end up sliding into home plate to snatch the doll off the shelf. At first, I felt a little sheepish that I was now THAT WOMAN. I gave the other customer a look of desperation to let her know how badly I wanted to make my niece happy Christmas morning. Walking out of the store, wrapping, sending the gift off to Utah, even up until this afternoon I felt so proud of myself for finding the perfect gift. My nephew sent me this video and I was quickly knocked off that pedestal! Dont worry my feelings arent hurt, but Im desperately searching for the right doll to redeem myself! ;)
