When I started on my spiritual path about 15 yrs ago I was a complete solitary. Back then there were not even on line communities for a solitary to turn to for insight or support and I knew of no other witches. I read...A LOT! I read everything I could get my hands on. It was through reading and following my own spirit that I learned ( with lots of trial and error) More recently I discovered a wonderful on line community of likeminded pagans and it has been wonderful! In the past few months I have actually had opportunity to make some witchy friends IN REAL LIFE! I was nervous..afraid that even though my magick and rituals work wonderfully for me..that it might turn out that I was doing everything "wrong" and yes I did know that there is really no "right/wrong". Turns out I had nothing to worry about. Practicing with others has opened up a whole new aspect to my spirituality and my magick. I have a renewed excitement that I havent felt in awhile. Of course now I am learning a whole new set of things that a solitary just cant know and Im loving it. Everyones path and experiences are different..yet the same.
