When I was a kid, my widowed grandma, Edith Smith, married widower - TopicsExpress

When I was a kid, my widowed grandma, Edith Smith, married widower Everett Trout. Suddenly, we had a bunch of new cousins, and I mean a Bunch of new cousins. Among those kids were the 7 children of Darrell and Linda Trout. Well, it was 6 initially, and then Peggy came along...LOL. From that point on every family gathering was so much more fun than it had been before. We played kickball, churned ice cream, and played board games indoors, too. We had a fine time growing up together in northern Indiana at the family farm. Many years went by and we all went our separate ways, as often happens, and I didnt have much news about the Trout kids until the advent of Facebook. When I joined Facebook I was able to reconnect with all of the Trouts and find out what they were up to, along with their families, and I am so grateful for that. It is with great sadness that I learned today that SuAnn Trout has passed away. Tonight I grieve with my cousins at her passing, and I pray for their healing. She was one of us who grew up together, and I know the strength of the bond the Trout kids share will hold them together through this dark time. I just want them to know what their family means to me and how grateful I am to have grown up with them all. Prayers and loving thoughts are with them tonight.
