When I was in Form 3 I got suspended from school indefinitely. Life as I knew it was over. Unable to explain to my parents what had become of my life, I got home from boarding school in the middle of the term confused and afraid. This was my first real crisis in life. My father almost hang me upside down but my mother protected me. I remember she told me that like Moses.. God was preparing me for a destiny that was even out of her own control. Then I couldnt understand why I was different from my peers. My love for music and films was only creating trouble and conflict in my life. I finished school and chose to walk the hard road. I thank God today for people I met along the way who walked with me and made me understand my purpose. Those who taught me to stay the course and trust God in the process and for the results. In the last13 years I produced my first album, first KORA award winning artiste from Kenya, Kisima Award and Groove Award winning artistes, my first radio commercial, my first tv commercial, my first tv music show, my first tv drama series, my first short film, my first feature film, my first American nomination for and independent film. I have seen the Red Sea open when on one side was an army and the other was deep water. I have seen the goodness of God in my life. Thank you all for walking with me this for.
