When going to a restaurant I usually strive to pay for something I couldnt produce myself (due lack of resources, facilities, skill required, etc). This state of exchange has prompted many to create dishes or even establishments based on the novel, which can often leave one entertained for a brief while but ultimately left hungry. I realized that when going to an art space (museum, gallery, etc) I am often drawn to the things that exist outside of my immediate spheres. Any thoughts on the comparison between the two and the idea of novelty art and lingering aesthetic hunger?
