When leadership does not inspire its subjects because of its record of inefficiency,unaccountability,cronysm,patronage and corruption,even when it calls its subjects to a banquet, the subjects will not heed the call. No matter how best this corrupt leadership will present their case, the subjects will always shy away from this corrupt leadership. This is what is happening to the chess Federation of Zambia. The leadership in CFZ has failed to realise that the general memebership of the chess fratenity in Zambia are now in the know of what transpires and how much money is in chess. Avaricious individuals have raped, swindled and milked chess to the borne in the past,at the expense of national development. But its seems there is an awakening spirit in chess. This is the spirit which the current leadership in CFZ is falling to discern. How can a leadership worth its salt shelve the discussion about the over K400,000 cash that was at Baclays? The laptop issue?,the 200 chess sets?,the money CFZ received from Kirsan for the secretariate?,the constitution,Why dodge all these very impotatnt issues and yet comeup with an AGM with one Agenda item (to appoint an auditor) whose significancy is questionable.CFZ must know that it does not provide transport for zone officials to attend these AGMs,they do it out of sucrifice and love of the game. Therefore CFZ must only call people to discuss serious business of chess. Can you imagine an AGM even shunned by its own executive members? Even those that attended were coming late. The people who were circulating the same fake agenda were all at large. What sort of an orgnisattion is this? I know the ideal was make people not attend this AGM but only few from these new ghost Zones that have been fabricated. I know for sure that these Zones have been created after we warned that Ncube and his minions will Never use his old dirty game of ghost delegates again in the future. They are trying by all means possible to rebrand their crookedness but time will tell. Ihave privy information of how Ncube wants to pepertuate his influence on Zambian chess. Some of thse people are inboxing me to ask as to why fuss from the Ncubes minions? The answer is right on evrybody mind. Choose ncube and his minions and they will give you few bucks and buy you bear and in return you dont ask them about chess development in Zambia or we all look aroung ourselves to select a visionary and honest leader for CFZ presidence and am sure Zambia will be awash of tournaments and equipment like what is happenning in other African countries
