When my brother and wife visited NH we pretty much kept to land. However, when Angelika and Dieter came from Germany we took to water. A day after they landed hubby rented a Berkshire 23 foot tri-toon and we went on an all day boat excursion on Lake Winnipesaukee. Once again we plucked DeeDee and Brad out of the water and used Coons Cove as our lunch/swimming area. After a few days recovery from lake experience we joined Angie and Matthias family already at Cape Cod for our annual beach resort escape at kid friendly Surfcomber by the Sea. The grand kids had a blast in and out of the water. The Germans had the additional thrill of a different room every night at the resort as reservations were tight. Incredible seafood dinners at nearby The Skipper Restaurant and Chowder House was the capper to a memorable weekend. All in all these were great additions to our staycation!
