When talking about relationships, I hear a lot of people just giving up, walking away and throwing the towel in. Its funny when I think of stuff like this because in life one cant just really give up. Sometimes its all about fighting for something you want so bad. I was asked why do I want to get married one day, me being my sarcastic self asked this person Why did you? She went on to tell me how different my relationship is and would be compared to hers. ( not in s good way). So before being asked to marry I did question what does marriage mean to me. Throughout my life Ive seen relationships stand the test of time. My grandparents were married for 60+ years, my parents 40+ years and my Aunt and Uncle(before he passed ) made it to 34 years. Its definitely about the long haul. Why do I choose to get married. Because the first time in my life Ive experienced a true love, someone who makes me smile without having to say a word, someones whos touch takes away all the stresses on a long day, someones hand I hold before falling asleep, a person who never judges, says an ill word, never critiques, but instead encourages. Someone that truly showed me that in arguments there doesnt have to be a winner. I want to marry this person because my life would be empty without him. Day 17 reminding us all never to give up, stay in for the long haul. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Happy Thursday.
