When the delhi rape happened those in North block had no inkling that the rape and brutality of the act has shaken the conscience of this Nation . That the gals are afraid to go out and are crying sitting alone in anguish . Some idiots than added insult to injury by lathi charging the protesting students , leading to riots in delhi . In Mujjafarnagar and UP the State govt sitting in its ivory towers has no inkling about the kind of polarization happening between majority and minority communities . The mistrust is absolute and both are apprehensive of each others intentions. In villages across western UP people are keeping armed watch , fearing attack from each other in night. This happened not because both religion hate each other. In UP the politics is caste and religion based. So depending on who is in power in lucknow , police is forced to look away and support the current vote banks of the party in power and brutally and proactively opress the other communities which are percieved to be voting for opposite parties . They may be wrong but the communities which traditionaly votes for RLD or BSP or BJP or Congress now vehemenently believe that their women are not safe from the goons of party in power . Durgashakti incident has reinforced their perception that CM is not in control and the shady uncles remote controls the police and administration and hence police will always be biased or helpless against criminals belonging to Samajwadi party . One youth leader asked me to check that how many of those arrested are from which community . This shows the lack of faith in the fairness of the administration. Sad part is that on both side of the divide the jats and gujjars are same ethnic people who choose different religion at different stages of history. When Dimple yadav was defeated by actor turned congress MP raj babbar , akhilesh never forgave congress for scheming against his wife . He should have known that the honor of women is a sensitive issue in India and victims and her family will not be supressed by a discredited administration , which is believed to be either impotent in front of bullies of SP or biased politically . The Mistrust , anger and feeling of alienation is very intense in rural UP now. In comparison to cities ....Riots in villages are also very difficult to control. I request everyone to help in restoring the social harmony by rising above the hurt and rumours. In riots , only innocents will be killed. As a Nation it will scar us badly . The rift created by selfish politicians ( many with criminal backgrounds ) will harm all of us. Our friendly neighbour country will also use this hatred to create trouble in India by stoking fissiperous feelings . Khoon kisi ka bhi gire ....woh khoon ek Hindustani ka hi hoga . Pls be aware of the politicians in a election year because history says that they have always breached that trust of the People for short term electoral gains .
