When there is a waking up to, a realization, an uncovering, a revelation of the vast and pure divinity of pure consciousness that is the very core of our being, life is lived in a much bigger context. It is then unfolding in this infinite, vast openness of divinity. We see that all of life, including the human life that is called by our particular name of Francis or Mary or John or Talulu, and is manifesting the form of a particular body/mind/personality, is all welcome to be fully. Contrary to the popular myth of awakening...the awakened person is so far from shutting down or denying their humanity, even the inevitable messy aspects of it. This is because the vast and infinite openness of divinity is absolutely, unconditionally open. The awakened person is never by-passing humanity but is utterly open to its arising with no resistance to or denial of it or any aspect of it or anything else that is arising here and now, in this eternally present here and now, whatever that arising may be. The awakened person is a fully human and fully divine reality. They are fully human and fully divine simultaneously precisely because the vastness of divinity is big enough and vast enough to contain all that arises, including the full, messy humanness in all its juicy glory!
