When we are saved we need to make All of our Decisions based on - TopicsExpress

When we are saved we need to make All of our Decisions based on the Word of God which means we receive from Him alone and not from both sides of life. Abram who later became Abraham knew refused to take anything from the King of Sodom because Abram didnt want anyone being able to say that any of the wealth and full life Abram received he wanted to only give Glory to the Father God for it. Because of Abrams decision, he placed his full focus on Jesus and found that All of his desires came to pass, he had an heir to his wealth, he was blessed by the Father God and lived a long fruitful life. If he had taken anything from the King of Sodom which represents the sins of man or fleshly man; it would have been different for Abram. If you know the Word of God you know that Sodom and Gomorrah was a city that was steeped in sin and the Father God ultimately destroyed it. He saved Lot, the nephew of Abram and his family the only righteous amongst the members of the city but destroyed the remaining. Why? Because those who do not know the Father God and do not serve Him; He doesnt know. As a result they go their own way instead of following Jesus. They follow their flesh rather than the Holy Spirit. Psalm 25:14 - The secret of the Lord is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant. With that in mind you as a Christian need to pursue the things of the Father God and have life which includes friendships which Primarily means a friendship with Jesus first who came to give us Life and that Life More Abundantly then when He directs it; with those who sincerely fear the Lord. Those in the world have no truth or direction in their lives. The Word of God tells us that now that we are saved; we are walking in Jesus and have nothing to do with world which means have nothing to do with it. 2 Corinthians 6:14 - Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? 1 John 1:6 - If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; This includes stay away from the false brethren in the church who say one thing but their hearts are facing a completely different direction. Basically Keep Your Focus on Jesus; Follow after Him by reading His Word, Praying and Seeking His truths...... God Bless You
