When we look back at out youth (or even eleven seconds ago for that matter) we tend to ask ourselves what could we have done differently. If we feel that now we can better interpret; dismiss and thus remove the usually arbitrary and existential barriers that kept us from being ourselves in that moment, Why cant we do that now, here, in the present. The future is not a set of predetermined outcomes or eventualities its a conglomeration of choice yet we constantly make the same ones, usually the ones that restrain us, that refrain our ability to make the choices that benefit and enrich us. Discuss.
