When you run for political office there is one good indicator of how a candidate will perform if elected. Check their track record and see how they performed there previous job. I have a proven record as a judge and I am glad to discuss it. Both of my opponents are upset at me because I cite hundreds of docket numbers and ask the public to examine their performance as prosecutors. Both of my opponents are assistant district attorneys and were given ample opportunity to perform, and their performance has resulted in St. Bernard having a dismissal rate of 80%. New Orleans has a dismissal rate of 15%. As your next district attorney, I will make sure St. Bernards dismissal rate will not be 80% while New Orleans has a 15% dismissal rate. I think 15% is too high but compared to our rate of 80% it looks pretty good. To make it clear, my opponents get plea deals on only 20% of their cases and then dismiss the remaining 80%. As publicized on TV, less than 1% of cases in St. Bernard go to trial. I will not stop telling the truth about my opponents work performance because it is a huge part of this campaign and why I resigned my judgeship. The public deserves to know if they vote for my opponents they are voting for two people who are directly responsible for one of the highest dismissal rates in Louisiana.
