Where were you on 9/11/2001? I will never forget. I was in Yokota Air Base, in Japan just getting ready for mid-shift on the flight line. We get an alarm over the loud speakers, all required personal head to their positions, with all my gear in hand, we rush to get every single planes ready to go if needed, then locked them up and wait for any news. I was ready to go if needed. Never thought that would happen, but when you are in that moment, you are ready. I worked alongside the best group of guys anyone could ever ask for 36 AS/374 AMX. I will never forget all those that lost their lives on that day, and since that day. Peace be with you all. Thank you for your service and your willingness to be ready on a short notice. My prayers go out to the men and women who are overseas still fighting this battle and those who have lost their lives.
