Whew. When it rains it pours. Having spent four days hanging out at the hospital with very little sleep and TONS of stress, now its my turn to get sick. Blech. I lost my voice, and attributed it to talking pretty much non-stop for three days. Then, last night it turned into a deep, painful chest cough that kept me awake most of the night. I just spent $120 to have the doc tell me that its stress and fatigue related and there isnt much he can do but give me some super powerful cough medicine with Codeine. $32 for a bottle of cough syrup! Holy cow! It if works, its all worth it though. Gotta be in good shape for when Dad comes home.
