While I believe that Falcao is a footballing mercenary, a thug-for-hire (moving to Monaco while at the peak of his powers, and then signing for a club outside the Champions League because of the huge wage package), and represents the complete loss of Uniteds philosophy of buying young and promising talent and/or raising young talent itself (as stated by Sir Alex), I have to admit this about him: He is the greatest striker since Ronaldo O Fenomeno. While Suarez was the best striker in the world last season, Falcao possesses frightening single-mindedness when it comes to scoring goals. His accuracy, power and consistency while scoring is surreal. While I strongly hope this United team does not succeed (due to my disgust at the clubs lack of philosophy; no United fan can ever mock glory-hunters Liverpool or big-spenders City or Chelsea), I am looking forward to the mouth-watering prospect of watching the greatest striker in the world play in the Premier League.
