While I was interviewing the mother of Ismael Bakir, one of four children who were killed while playing football on the beach, my heart was weeping a thousand times. When I asked her: how old is your son? Her eyes got filled with tears and started describing how handsome her little kid was and how kind and strong he was. She said: Ismael always helped me carry bags of grocery when I am back from shopping. She added: He never said no to any of my requests despite his young age compared to his brothers. She paused for a second then said: Ismael dropped out from school to support his family make a living.. If I knew he was going to be killed for playing football, I would have never let him go. She concluded our conversation saying: In Gaza, we raise our children for Israel to kill them! Her words will always resound in my heard. #GazaUnderAttack #GenocideInGaza
