While checking out at Meijer this evening, we encountered a man who looked very much like Santa Claus. The kids noticed him right away, and we chatted about it while we waited. As we walked past Santa, we stopped to tell him who we thought he looked like. The man opened up his phone to show us a picture of himself in costume! He then proceeded to quiz Anna and Jack regarding their behavior, and pretended to text the elves about his findings. It was fun to experience a little bit of Christmas in the middle of summer, and a great reminder for the kids that they never know who theyll run into!
