While it is very true to say that we cannot predict an earthquake to the date and time and place precisely and accurately as much as we wanted to, its never wrong to have a little know-how with upcoming possible events so that we may all somehow live through it. My dear Bohol had its share of pain and terror with the 7.2 magnitude earthquake and it worries me that we will never know if we would have to go through that ordeal all over again. God forbid. Preventing and predicting further quakes are near impossible but its better to know something than nothing at all, right? Predictions like these that IEVPC (International Earthquake and Volcano Prediction Center) came up with shouldnt scare us. But instead, we should use its potential to share the information to those around us to broaden our understanding of earthquakes and other things that entail with it. Please do take time to read the article and the comments section as well with an open mind. Again, this is not to scare us. But to make us more aware of our surroundings. God Bless to all!
