While making my Mommys birthday cake for tomorrow I knocked over the mixer and spilled some of the batter all over my countertop and my stove. At that moment, I felt quite defeated by that and everything else going on in my life right now. Then I was struck with a thought... I should be thankful for my tiny little kitchen and the fact that I can make my Mommy a birthday cake. I should be grateful for all that I have. It may not be much by many peoples standard, but Ive worked for it and its more than a lot of people have. Find not in everything that you do and be grateful for the little things.
