While preparing to do some updates in our house, I have learned - TopicsExpress

While preparing to do some updates in our house, I have learned several things. 1. Cooktops are expensive. So, we will buy replacement parts. 2. Quality large bathroom vanities are all more than $600. This is why I searched high and low, buying a used one for $50. Ill use the difference In cost to buy two new toilets and a countertop/sink. 3. If you are planning a remodel or to update something, use online local yard sale sites. When you see an item you want, buy it. I paid $10 for a pedestal sink. I may not use it, but I can definitely re-sell it. 4. Wall ovens are also expensive. I would love to have a larger one, but what we have will do. 5. Manufactured homes are made funny. Standard household items oftentimes cannot be used to replace parts unless you are crafty. 6. Repurpose an item when you can. 7. Make your own art. 8. Do what you can to cut costs and let a qualified professional you trust do the rest. Happy New Year!
