Who can move peoples emotions faster than any religious sermon, political power speech or motivational speaker? Answer: A musician! There has been such a change in the political climate around the globe regarding Israel and their continued and systematic crushing of the Palestinian people. I have noticed more and more intelligent and well-versed Canadians are asking you to reconsider your trip to Israel. I know you have been looking forward to sharing your love and music with the good ordinary folk in that country. Under the present international pressures against Israel, I am interested to see what your team will do. I certainly hope that you and your team discuss this matter soberly. As a musician myself, I understand your motives to perform abroad are based off of good will. Perhaps good-will for humanity might be best served in this case by joining the growing ranks of those aware enough to boycott them until they realize that we, the human-race, the gentiles, are not inferior and we are most certainly tolerant but not to horrific human-rights atrocities. thank you, Neil!
