Who knew that a teeny tiny ant could be the source of such amusement. This afternoon I was outside standing on my concrete patio with my sons GF. All of a sudden I looked down and saw this little ant pulling what looked like a piece of dried weed. The weed was bigger than the ant was. So the ant is dragging it along and I decided to step on the tail end of the weed. This little ant is moving around it trying I think to figure out why it was moving. I let go of the weed and he started onward with his journey of pulling the weed. Let me tell you this ant was hauling his butt. Once again I stepped on the tail end of the weed and once agaig the little ant was crawling all around it wondering why it wasnt moving I think. This time I didnt let go of the weed for several minutes. I think the little ant got fustrated cuz he started crawling away from it but came back and checked on it a few times. Then when he seemed to have lot interest and crawl quite s bit away I let go . And I kid you not but I think that crazy little ant knew I took my foot off of it cuz not more the 2 maybe less second minutes later that ant came scurring back and got the damn. Once he had it secured he took off like a bullet... Like I said who knew an itty bitty ant could be the source of an afternoon of amusement. Not Me!!!! But it was kinda cool makes one wonder just how smart ARE ants?
