Why - please tell me - why do not reporters simply ask Boehner point blank about this? There have been several stories showing that there are far more than enough Republicans who would vote with Democrats to end this mess - yet Boehner refuses to allow it to come to a vote. Now it turns out that the Republicans changed the rules of the House at the last minute just to give the Republican leadership this exclusive power - the Congress CAN NOT VOTE on this unless the Majority Leader calls for such a vote. That means not even Boehner can call for the vote. So now we have MINORITY RUKLE, This is just flippin crazy.
