Why? Why would she put up with the following incident, and Why dont women ban together to make this an equal society? Yesterday at the hardware store parking lot, a woman was holding an infant while doing her best to push a shopping cart with a heavy item in it to be returned. Not unusual unless you consider the boyfriend/husband was walking along side, simply smoking his cigarette. His contribution was second hand smoke for the baby, end of story. It was profoundly disturbing on All levels. Today, the SF Chronicle reported that Satya Nadella, CEO of Microsoft, told all the women, at the large conference, they should not negotiate pay raise upon being hired, they should wait for the system to work. What system? Women are paid 78 cents to every dollar a man earns. This attitude toward women makes me want to become an activist to make things right before I leave this world. Its completely disgraceful and women should not have to put up with this type of bullying. Thats exactly what it is. All of the above is my very own opinion. If you agree, please share the events with other women so we may band together and change policy as well as attitude.
