Why are we so satanic in many of our thoughts in this country? Why do we want others to respect our feelings and rights when we are not ready to respect the feelings and rights of the other people? Why do we want people to give us peace while we dont give similar peace to those people? You read a report that Christian delegates to the national conference largely outnumbered the Muslim delegates, what then do you have to say about this unfair arrangement? Christian delegates all have 62% and leaving the remaining 38% to be shared between the Muslims and all other religions in the country. What then has the issue of Boko Haram got to do with the Sultans call for justice, fairness and equity? You also read that out of 20 delegates appointed by the federal government, only six delegates are Muslims while the remaining 14 delegates are Christians. You also read that out of 18 security exports to the conference, only 22.2% are Muslims. Why then not addressing this injustice rather than insulting the Sultan for speaking out the minds of the Muslims in Nigeria? And we were all here yesterday when pastor Bakare was said to have raised an objection to the way the chairman of the conference greeted the congregation by saying Assalam alaykum warahmatulai wabarakaatuhu, when pastor Bakare truly knew that the chairman could have done that only because he knew that many Muslims were in the conference. And I know that chairman would have also made another statement, either before or after he greeted the muslim delegates, to greet those who are not Muslims at the conference. Though that was not reported. But many of you Christians here yesterday aggressively objected to such greeting by saying the CJN must have ulterior motives to insult those who are not Muslims. You also claimed that Nigeria is not an Islamic country, so such statement shouldnt have been made by any Muslim. Now that similar incident has happened, can we then say that Nigeria is a Christian country when the Christian delegates largely outnumbered the Muslim and other religion delegates? Do you then expect the Muslims to keep quiet when you didnt keep quiet when it happened to you? We need to fear God on this note!
