Why do we sit and say nothing? I hate terrorists, whatever their motivations, but enough is enough. Please share this video and my words if you agree. Clearly, Hamas have no right to fire rockets into Israel. However, why does Israel think it has the right to respond with high tech weaponry, wilfully and openly targeting innocent civilians with nowhere to run? Is this the sort of action our military would get away with, in the eyes of the world? Is it really right to say it was justifiable to kill a group of innocents, just to kill the terrorist standing in their midst? Since its inception, the nation of Israel has frequently acted with disproportionate cruelty and aggression towards its neighbours. Remember - we recently saw Israel invade the Gaza strip to hunt down and destroy Hamas terrorists. Apparently, this justified shelling the civilian population with white phosphorous - directly in contravention of international law. Remember the images of charred bodies, hastily buried in the grounds of a hospital? Or women and children running, screaming in terror as the sky rained fire? While Israel continues down this path, there will never be peace. Because there will always be a mother who remembers holding her child as it died, or a man who remembers seeing his brother killed, just because he took to the streets to ask for it all to stop. You cannot crush a whole nation, you can only repress it, make it bleed and hate you more. Whatever persecution Jews once endured, the nation state they now have, by our making (UK and US), has no right to behave like this. Watch this short video - Israel and the world need to understand that while our governments stand by, the many decent, ordinary people of the watching world deplore their terrible crimes.
